07. Open Multiple Windows In Internet Explorer 8.0

You may have noticed when using Internet Explorer 8 that you can only open one IE window, unlike previous versions of Internet Explorer where you could simply click the IE icon and another Internet Explorer window would automatically open.

Again this is another default option for Internet Explorer 8; however all is not lost as it is easy to open multiple windows even if the option isn't well documented.

To open multiple windows in Internet Explorer simply proceed as follows:

1. First Click on the Internet Explorer icon and open your home page.
2. To open subsequent instances of IE simply hold down the Shift key and press the Internet Explorer icon again.
3. As soon as you have pressed the Shift and clicked on the Internet Explorer icon another window instantly opens.
